Privacy Policy

BLS clinic (hereinafter “Company”) values the protection of personal information and complies with the Personal Information Protection Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, and other applicable Korean laws. This Privacy Policy explains how the Company collects, uses, retains, and protects your personal information when you use our website and services. Any revisions will be posted on the website with the effective date and will be notified to Members in advance where required. This policy is effective as of July 11, 2013.

The Company collects the following personal information for membership registration, consultation requests, service inquiries, and related purposes:

Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information

The Company uses collected personal information solely for the following purposes:
Performance of contracts and settlement of service fees, including provision of content, purchase and payment processing, and delivery of goods or invoices;
Membership management, including identity verification, prevention of unauthorized or fraudulent use, confirmation of membership intent, age verification, handling of complaints and inquiries, and delivery of notices;
Marketing and advertising, including delivery of event information, event updates, statistical analysis of access frequency and usage patterns, and personalized recommendations.

Retention and Use Period of Personal Information

In principle, the Company retains personal information only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined above. Upon fulfillment of the purpose (e.g., termination of membership), the information is destroyed without undue delay, except where retention is required under applicable laws:

Procedure and Method for Destruction of Personal Information

In principle, the Company destroys personal information without undue delay once the purposes for which it was collected and used have been fulfilled. The procedures and methods for destruction are as follows:

Destruction Procedure
Personal information entered by Members during registration or other processes is transferred to a separate database (or, in the case of paper records, to a separate filing system) after the purpose has been achieved. It is stored for a limited period in accordance with the Company's internal policies and applicable laws (see Retention and Use Period section) and then destroyed. Personal information transferred to a separate database is not used for any purpose other other than retention, unless required by law.
Destruction Method
Personal information stored in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that render the data permanently irretrievable.

Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Company does not provide users' personal information to third parties as a matter of principle. Exceptions are made only in the following circumstances:
When the Member has given prior, specific consent;
When disclosure is required by law or pursuant to legally prescribed procedures (e.g., requests from law enforcement authorities for investigative purposes).

Rights of Data Subjects and Legal Representatives and Exercise of Rights

Users (and their legal representatives) may at any time request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information, or withdraw consent to its processing.
To view or correct personal information, users may use the “Change Personal Information” (or “Update Member Information”) section of the website. To withdraw membership or consent, users may select “Cancel Membership” and complete the identity verification process to access, correct, or delete their information directly.
Alternatively, users may contact the Personal Information Protection Officer in writing, by telephone, or by email, and the Company will take prompt action.
If a user requests correction of inaccurate personal information, the Company will not use or disclose such information until the correction is complete. If the inaccurate information has already been provided to a third party, the Company will promptly notify that third party of the correction and ensure it is implemented.
Personal information that has been deleted or terminated at the user's request is handled in accordance with the retention and use periods specified in this Policy and is not accessed or used for any other purpose.

The Company uses cookies and similar technologies to store and retrieve your information. A cookie is a small text file sent by the web server to your browser and stored on your computer's hard drive.

Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing and Third-Party Provision Consent

Reasons for Third-Party Information Provision
The website and databases of BLS Clinic (hereinafter “Company”) are operated and managed under outsourcing agreements with BBBG Networks Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Operating Company”) and Triup Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Outsourcing Recipient”).
Under the responsibility of the Operating Company, the Company's data is stored on the servers of the Operating Company.
The stored information may be used for marketing purposes within the following scope:

1. Notification of events and notices from the Company
2. Delivery of responses to inquiries submitted to the Company
3. Emergency contact information in urgent situations
4. Analysis and utilization of customer distribution, preferences, and other marketing-related information
